THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO FUNCTION AS A STATEWIDE ARTIST- SERVICE ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO CREATE AN APPRECIATION OF VISUAL ART BY PROMOTING INDIANA ARTISTS AND THEIR WORK. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES TWO NONPROFIT GALLERIES TO EXHIBIT WORKS BY ARTIST MEMBERS. THE GALLERIES PROVIDE LOCAL ARTISTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SELL THEIR WORK ON CONSIGNMENT WITH PROCEEDS FROM THESE SALES RETURNED TO THE ARTIST OR USED TO PRESENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING.
