We are an independent literary arts center offering supportive creative writing classes, readings, and free workshops to underserved populations. The Westport Writers’ Workshop offers generative,supportive creative writing workshops. The Westport Writers' Workshop is an independent literary center, offering enriching, supportive creative writing classes and community to regional writers. In addition, we offer scholarships, free readings, and publish Sentences, the prose and poetry of the inmates at Garner Correctional Institution, Newtown, Connecticut.
