Christian Children's Charities Christian Childrens Charities HOW WE HELP Children in Andean Communities Sherlie Scribner went to Peru in 2019 and met with community leaders who wanted to help the families in some of the poorest areas of the Andes in central Peru. Poverty malnutrition anemia and domestic violence are chronic problems in many of these areas. We are working with local leaders to provide families with a small monthly allowance to purchase food household supplies and personal products. They provide training on nutrition family planning hygiene organizing their living space personal improvement and entrepreneurship.
