The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels. 
Nearly half a million Palestinians are facing famine. Over 71,000 children and 17,000 mothers require urgent treatment for acute malnutrition. Every single World Food Program-supported bakery in Gaza has shut down. Senate Resolution 224, led by Senator Peter Welch and 27 of his colleagues, calls for the immediate and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, the lifting of the blockade, and a path toward ending the conflict. This resolution is a necessary and overdue response to a worsening tragedy.
