A photo of the SE corner of Main and Biddle, around 1960. The corner was one of the four parks at this intersection and held the Civil War Memorial cannons, now moved in front of the museum. Carpenters Clinic/Hospital was in the white building, and next to that an old folks home. All was removed in the 1960s. (fb)

Wayne Historical Society Wayne Michigan Welcome. The Wayne Historical Society was founded in 1956 to promote collect and preserve the history of the city of Wayne Michigan. The society works in partnership with the City of Wayne to run the Wayne Historical Museum a free volunteerrun city history museum and archive.
