Home - Womens Fund of East Tennessee Our Mission The Womens Fund is a catalyst to transform the lives of lowincome women and girls in East Tennessee. SUPPORT WOMENS FUND WHO WE ARE The Womens Fund was founded in 2011 by a group of philanthropic women desiring to address the lack of opportunities for underserved women and girls in East Tennessee. They quickly organized around the VISION of every woman selfsustaining. In February of that same year the Womens Fund of East Tennessee became an incorporated fund of the East Tennessee Foundation quickly raising 2 million dollars from which grant making opportunities were outlined to fuel the vision.
