Wisconsin Healthcare Human Resources Association
The Wisconsin Healthcare Human Resources Association (WisHHRA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting human resources professionals in the healthcare industry across Wisconsin. Established in the fall of 1966 as the Wisconsin Society of Hospital Personnel Directors, the organization has undergone several name changes over the years to reflect evolving human resources management practices. These name changes include the Wisconsin Society for Hospital Personnel Administration (1972), Health Care Personnel Administrators of Wisconsin (1981), and Wisconsin Society of Healthcare Human Resource Administration (1990) before becoming WisHHRA in 2013.
