Hanne Howard Fund Donate Get Involved Share Hanne Howard Fund began with a story full of compassion and heart During a sixmonth sabbatical in 200506 Hanne Howard and her husband Ted Horton were introduced to the Lenana Slum through a chance encounter with a grandmother whose daughter and baby grand daughter lay dying of AIDS. Our Areas of Focus Education Nutrition Health Programs An Unexpected Family Stories from a slum In 2009 director Riyad Barmania and producers Diego Pascoalino and Christian Marion Lohr came to HHFL in Kenya to film a documentary about our work and the HHFL children. This documentary has since debuted at many film festivals and has most recently been accepted into the Online New York Festival. Grab a coffee sit back and enjoy its 45 minutes long.
