The next WVAS open meeting will be at 7pm on March 7 at the West Lafayette Observatory, 600 Cumberland Ave. Beginning Astronomy 101: Basic Optics will be taught at 6:45pm. General space or astronomy presentation will follow. Anyone may attend. (tw)
The Nov. open meeting of the Wabash Valley Astronomical Society will be at 7 PM on Nov. 2 at the West Lafayette Observatory. The presentation will be "Galactic Navigation". Open to all. At 8 PM a free Telescope Fair is planned for anyone thinking of buying a telescope. (tw)
