A home for every Jew! Our warm, non-judgmental policy makes every individual feel like family. Our genuine belief in Ahavat Yisroel - Love your fellow as you love yourself - gives everyone the opportunity to belong and feel welcomed. Center for Jewish Life is a young Synagogue and Jewish outreach center operating in the Castro Valley in Alameda County, California. It was established with the purpose of spreading the beliefs and increasing the observance of the Jewish faith, according to the principles - and under the umbrella of - the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. Activities presently include services (prayer/worship), religious instructional classes for adults, after-school religious instruction for children, Jewish holiday activities, women's club, kids activities and more. Aside from nominal charges for some of our activities, as well as fees for our religious school, our activities are financed through private donations solicited from worshippers & friends.
