As the oldest women’s charitable organization in Chicago, we have continually served the health, social service, educational and cultural needs of Chicago and surrounding communities since 1890. Our policy of giving is to assist, improve and enlarge upon agency programs. We help recipients to expand facilities, improve equipment and initiate new programs which will better serve a large number of people in need. Every single dollar raised goes directly to charity. Every grant request is vetted by our trained, all-volunteer Philanthropic Committee to ensure no dollars goes to waste.
