We exist to glorify the Lord by equipping students to serve the Church & fulfill the Great Commission Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Judson College seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping students to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission. Southeastern began classes in 1951 with 85 students enrolled in a basic theological program. Over the past ten years, we have experienced record-breaking growth with a 41% percent cumulative increase in student enrollment. Today, Southeastern is the largest seminary on the east coast with over 4,500 men and women pursuing degrees ranging from Certificates to Doctor of Philosophy. Our graduates are serving in all 50 states and in over 40 countries worldwide.
