Heart of West Michigan United Way At Heart of West Michigan United Way were pursuing a vision of a thriving community for all. We reduce the burdens of poverty in West Michigan by intervening in crisis mobilizing communities to action and empowering people to build toward selfsufficiency. Each of us can make a difference for a neighborbut when we come together we can make change for all. Without a proper system of support a network that can help meet needs while investing in the future of families ALICE households often face eviction food insecurity and the likelihood of developing mental and behavioral health issues.
