CITY MOSAIC SPRINGFIELD MA Creating Connecting Inspiring Art in Downtown About City Mosaic City Mosaic is a 501C nonprofitorganization with a mission to support promote and grow the visual artcommunity in downtown Springfield Massachusetts including but not limitedto arranging exhibits sponsoring programs planning events offering classesand lectures and collaborating with artists galleries educationalinstitutions museums and businesses to improve the City landscape educateentertain and enhance lives. Our Mission City Mosaics objective is to continue to bring art to downtown Springfield using a variety of local talent including artist John Simpson and his UMass students. City Mosaic has been part of bringing art and culture to the City over the last decade including the recent Worthington Street Mural and Restoration project at Stearns Square and other planned mural projects and initiatives downtown.
