With unparalleled expertise, NCI is the answer for web and broadcast closed captioning and description solutions The National Captioning Institute (NCI) is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization which developed and continues to develop the closed captioning television service for the benefit of people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. NCI's primary commitment is to increase the quantity and quality of closed-captioned television programming worldwide. NCI will serve and assist in the education of people who, for whatever reason, whatever situation, and irrespective of their economic conditions are limited in fully participating in the world of communications heard, seen or written.
