Bon Secours Community Works (BSCW), of which Unity Properties is a part, has a mission to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well-being of our community and bringing "Good Help to those in Need." BSCW has been serving West Baltimore for almost 35 years with affordable housing and community development by Unity Properties; workforce development training with job placement; family and young parent support programs including Early Head Start; financial education services; and an urban farm with a food access program. Unity Properties has made a massive investment in West Baltimore by developing 800 units of affordable housing units at 12 locations for families, seniors, the disabled, and the formerly homeless. Another 154 are in some stage of development.
