A collaborative network of organizations & individuals supporting & serving the childhood cancer community. Imagine a world without childhood cancers! The primary value underlying CAC2 is to put the children and their families first in everything we do. COALITION AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER (CAC2) IS A COLLABORATIVE NETWORK OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO SUPPORT AND SERVE THE CHILDHOOD CANCER COMMUNITY. CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.THE MISSION OF CAC2 IS TO FOSTER AND SUSTAIN GREATER LEVELS OF COORDINATED ACTION, INFORMATION EXCHANGE, LEARNING, AND BROAD-BASED COLLABORATION THROUGH AGREED-UPON INITIATIVES IN FOUR AREAS: RESEARCH AND TREATMENT, FAMILY SUPPORT AND SURVIVORSHIP, AWARENESS BUILDING, AND ADVOCACY. CAC2 WORKS TO BENEFIT THE CHILDHOOD CANCER COMMUNITY - INCLUDING BOTH ITS MEMBERSHIP AND CHILDHOOD CANCER PATIENTS, SURVIVORS, AND THEIR FAMILIES - THROUGH GREATER LEVELS OF COORDINATED ACTION THAT LEVERAGE THE UNIQUE STRENGTHS AND EXPERTISE OF ITS MEMBERS, MINIMIZING WASTE OF PRECIOUS RESOURCES IN ORDER TO DRIVE BETTER OUTCOMES FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Working together today for a futurewithout childhood cancers Coalition Against Childhood Cancer CAC2 is a collaborative network of nonprofits corporations and individuals from 41 states and nine countries supporting and serving the childhood cancer community. CAC2 members effectively advance a variety of childhood cancer causes by unifying their efforts. Engagement Areas Advocacy As advocates we harness our collective strength to push for more effective less toxic treatments and to broaden and deepen support for our community. Awareness Awareness efforts alert the public to the magnitude of problems faced by children and teenagers with cancer and those who survive their cancers.
