Connect Motivated Individuals Empower Career Paths Partner With Local Employers Learn More Learn More How CTEC Works Local Need Southeast Kansas school districts and individuals often lack the funding and resources necessary to access skilled trades education. In response to this need local educators and community members established CTEC a nonprofit that connects motivated individuals with the technical education needed to build fulfilling careers locally. STATE PRIVATE FUNDING The State of Kansas Excel in Career Technical Education CTE provides partial funding of costs to Kansas high schools that enroll students in skilled trade courses offered by local community colleges. Private funding then covers additional expenses associated with high school student enrollment as well as facility expenses.
