To Shelter and Protect the unwanted and abandoned animals of Clarendon County, to facilitate the adoption of these animals, promote population control through our spay and neuter program and to educate the community about the care of animals. ASCAS is a No Kill / Low Kill Shelter that DOES NOT euthanize animals to make room for additional animals. We are the ONLY shelter, public or private in the county.
