SURFING MADONNA OCEANS PROJECT
Founded by Surfing Madonna creator Mark Patterson, the Surfing Madonna Oceans Project raises awareness of issues affecting the world’s oceans. The Surfing Madonna Oceans Project is dedicated to bringing the community together to “Save the Ocean" and protect our coastline. Through arts programming, helping children with special needs experience the healing power of the ocean, we are helping to expand this community of ocean advocates. We hope the Surfing Madonna mosaic will help inspire people to re-think their actions and understand their role as powerful agents of change. Together as a community, we can help reverse the serious degradation currently impacting the world's oceans and beaches. The results we wish to see are healthier oceans and a stronger sense of community in our life time.
