We grow nutrient-dense mixed vegetables with best organic practices. In seven years, LCF donated over 30,000 lbs. of food and distributed food to families through our commercial CSA since our first growing season in 2015. Our work accomplishes the goal of reduced food insecurity and provides free access to nutrient-dense fresh and local vegetables. The Hunger Relief Program allows us to improve one of the social determinants of health, food security. The target population who will benefit is low- to moderate-income families, including children, families, and the elderly, in Nashoba Valley and specifically in the city of Lowell and Fitchburg Massachusetts.
