ISLP is an independent, non-partisan, and apolitical charity with a 25-year track record of mobilizing specialized pro bono legal expertise to promote economic development and the rule of law worldwide. ISLP's mission is to mobilize pro bono legal support to advance the rule of law and inclusive, just, and accountable economic development. Our approach is to partner with local decision makers in government, civil society and community advocates, and social enterprise leaders to help them achieve more favorable and inclusive development outcomes. We undertake matters in which there is a genuine desire and need for pro bono legal support, and where international and comparative legal experience can complement local expertise and contribute meaningfully to better results for local constituencies

ISLP provides pro bono legal assistance togovernmentsandcivil society organizationsin the Global South and in countries transitioning to democracy and marketbased economies leveraging global legal resources in alignment with client needs to supportjustaccountable and inclusive development. What We Do ISLP provides toptier pro bono legal services to three primary groups of clients governments civil society actors and social enterprises cognizant that each represents an important tenet of inclusive development. ISLPs legal support focuses on the following intersecting thematic areas We seek to engage where there is a genuine need for pro bono legal assistance and the opportunity to make a contribution to the rule of law and inclusive accountable and sustainable development. Engagements are driven by client needs and based on the attorneyclient model volunteer legal experts provide advice and guidance while clients direct development decisions and outcomes.
