Maiden Alley Cinema continues to use film as a means to provide entertainment, promote visual literacy, create cross-cultural awareness and promote filmmaking as an art form. As a integral piece of the cultural fabric of our region, we know film has been proven to be a catalyst for discussion, a forum providing a deeper understanding of a topic and the best tool for engaging an audience. The continued presence of an art house cinema in a small western Kentucky town offers exposure to things outside the norm and gives people a place to gather and commiserate over a common theme. Adapting to be a space where partnerships are common and using film as an educational tool is paramount to the growth of Maiden Alley Cinema and a core piece of our mission moving forward.
