LFWMH funds vetted charities who provide services to post 9/11 wounded veterans and their families. Our mission is to provide funds that directly support wounded military heroes through charitable programs reviewed, approved, and recommended by Birdies for the Brave, a PGA Tour Charities, Inc. affiliate. These programs are designed specifically for the individual needs of our wounded heroes as they return to active duty or assimilate back into the civilian population.

Our Foundation funds qualified charities that provide needed services to post 911 combat wounded veterans and their families. Every charitable program that receives our support has been reviewed approved and recommended by Birdies for the Brave a PGA Tour Charities Inc. affiliate.

Jersey Mike's Plans to Name Its Dog "Juice" Last May, four members of the Beaufort County, SC Jersey Mike’s team presented us with a ceremonial check representing the results of this year’s “Month of Giving” for our area. As with any donation of a significant size … and Jersey Mike’s donation of $50,010 was, indeed, significant… the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded MilitarK9s For Warriorsthe donor to name one Birdies for the Bravearriors dogs we fund through Birdies for the Brave. Those of us at LFWMH thought the obvious name for Jersey Mike's dog would be "Mike".
