The World in HD Huntingtons Disease
The focus of our organization is to raise Huntington's Disease awareness and to help others with HD and their caregivers by providing medical supplies, various medical treatments, handicap accessibility in their home, and respite care. HD requires several different specialists and treatments, and requires full-time care in the late stages of the disease. The economic impact of this terminal disease on families can be overwhelming. The World in HD's mission is to lessen the impact families experience when faced with such a devastating disease. The World in HD relies solely on donations; fundraising activities and events. All proceeds go to furthering our mission of supporting those impacted by Huntington's Disease. Our biggest goal is to improve the quality of life of sufferers...
