A CASA volunteer provides a judge with objective information about the child to help the court make a sound decision about that child’s future. CASA is dedicated to supporting & advocating for children in our community who struggle through foster care by no fault of their own. Our service area includes Aurora, Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Davison, Douglas, Hanson, Hutchinson, & McCook counties. Mission Statement: The mission of First Circuit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive.
