At 4:40 pm today Ronda Fire/Rescue along with Wilkes EMS was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with 2 injuries. First arriving units upgraded the incident to include an entrapment. One patient was transported to the hospital by the first arriving ALS unit and the entrapped patient was freed by Ronda Fire/Rescue personnel befor the second ALS unit arrived. While loading the second patient Ronda Fire/Rescue was paged to assist Mulberry-Fairplains Fire/Rescue with a traumatic injury in the Knotville community. A crew left the scene of the MVA to assist while others stayed in our District and cleared the MVA scene. Just a reminder of our Community Food Distribution this Saturday May 24th from 9:00 until we run out at the Ronda Fire Dept.
