Continuing the Tradition While we have several more weeks to go with students in our building for summer camps, our last regular field trip of the 2024-2025 school year took place last week. We save all of our student work just for this moment—to look back at all of the conversations we've had with students this school year in this classroom and the many ways they considered how they could apply threads from the #BIGstories of Medal of Honor Recipients to their own lives. There is great value in storytelling; this is how we pass on our history to younger generations. Application, however, has the potential to render a #BIGimpact in the here and now. Among the many layers on this wall are ways students can and are making a #BIGimpact in their spheres of influence.
