Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) is a national nonpartisan Quaker organization that lobbies for peace, justice, and the environment. We seek a world free of war and the threat of war. We seek a society with equity and justice for all. We seek a community where every person's potential may be fulfilled. We seek an earth restored. The Friends Committee on National Legislation is a national nonpartisan Quaker organization that lobbies Congress and the administration to advance peace, justice, opportunity, and environmental stewardship. Founded in 1943 by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), FCNL fields an expert team of lobbyists on Capitol Hill and works with a grassroots network of tens of thousands of people across the country to advance policies and priorities established by our governing General Committee. FCNL is a 501(c)4 organization that works in concert with the 501(c)3 FCNL Education Fund.
