We're a community & coworking space for game developers and interactive artists in the NY Capital Region. Make games, make friends, make a difference! Our mission is to encourage and enable everyone in the NY Capital Region to create games. TVGS is a volunteer-driven and member-supported nonprofit organization founded on the principle that games and game making are for everyone. We work together to foster a more diverse, approachable, and thriving game development community in the upstate NY. The centerpiece of these efforts is our location in Troy NY, which serves as a coworking venue, communal hub, and safe space where game makers of all backgrounds and experience levels can gather to collaborate, share knowledge, and support one another. We constantly strive to increase the accessibility of mentorship and skill-building opportunities by developing classes and diversity-focused education programs for independent and aspiring creators.

Our community and coworking space in downtown Troy New York is a welcoming and accessible environment where professional and aspiring game developers alike come to imagine and build games as well as to mentor educate and support each other. Coworking Our coworking studio open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year is located at 30 3rd Street in beautiful downtown Troy. An open inclusive and safe working environment it houses professional game developers and studios as well as new aspiring and hobbyist game devs.
