The Guadalupe Center was founded in 1919. We are the longest continuously operating organization serving the Latino communities in the US. We are one of Kansas City’s most critical nonprofits, serving over 10,000 individuals and families each year through a wide array of programs and services in areas including Education, Health, Social Services, Youth Recreation and Development. At Guadalupe Centers, we improve lives in Latino communities throughout the Kansas City area by providing vital services and programs that address the diverse needs of individuals and families. Through initiatives focused on early childhood education, workforce development, digital literacy, youth programs, and support for older adults, we empower individuals to build strong, sustainable futures. Additionally, we celebrate and preserve Latino heritage by organizing traditional and cultural community events, fostering a sense of pride, connection, and belonging. Our bilingual, culturally responsive approach ensures that each person receives the tools and resources they need to thrive, creating lasting positive change in the community.
