A deaf patient came in feeling nervous, unsure if anyone would be able to communicate with her. She worried the visit might be difficult without someone who could understand sign language. Fortunately, Kimberly, one of our team members, was able to step in and use her knowledge of American Sign Language to communicate. The patient was relieved, and Kimberly was glad to help.
