BACKPACK TUTORING INC
Backpack Tutoring is a volunteer-led and student run, not-for profit started in 1997. We serve academically at-risk, inner-city grade school kids by providing volunteer high school-age tutors to come alongside these students and their schools with help in reading and math and other school work, in a fun, encouraging and supportive manner. By doing so, we also create a leadership and community service opportunity for high school-aged students, providing them with significant, meaningful service-learning and leadership skills development.
