Center for International Health Inc
The mission of CIH is to improve global health through international health partnerships that offer training, consultation, technical assistance, material resources and health systems development techniques to strengthen the clinical, technical, and management capabilities of health professionals worldwide. As a consortium of academic institutions, health care providers, industry partners, and public government, CIH is uniquely positioned to provide multi-disciplinary health education and training worldwide, with a particular focus on establishing long-term partnerships between academic medical centers, universities, and health professionals. By bringing together consortium member resources, CIH has been able to provide training for well over 3,000 individuals (and thousands more indirectly through a "train the trainers" approach) in more than 40 countries on five continents over the past 27 years.
