Empowerment Advocacy and Support for HispanicLatina Breast Cancer Survivors Empowerment Advocacy and Support for HispanicLatina Breast Cancer Survivors Educational Workshops In our educational programs HispanicLatina women learn about the importance of breast health and care. They also receive guidance and support as they navigate through the complexities of cancer treatment. Presentation topics include breast health cancer treatment breast reconstruction lymphedema clinical trials genetics and stress management. Mental Health Programs ALAS provides mental health education and psychosocial support that enable HispanicLatina women to improve their quality of life decrease feelings of isolation and increase their selfconfidence.
