The Minnesota Lions Hearing Foundation (formerly the Lions Multiple District 5M Hearing Foundation) was founded in 1973 to promote to the fullest extent the advancement of research and programs concerned with hearing health and communication disorders. THE ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING AND ADVANCING RESEARCH AND THERAPY IN THE FIELD OF EAR HEALTH AND COMMUNICATION DISORDERS.

It was founded in 1973 to promote to the fullest extent the advance of research and programs concerned with hearing health and communication disorders. For almost four decades we have fostered a partnership with the University of Minnesota and have raised more than 7 million in funds for equipment capital improvements as well as the hearing research. Together we have established In addition to the above our foundation has funded a Newborn Hearing Screening program in all hospitals throughout all of Minnesota ensuring that all little ears can hear.
