Add a garden, a treehouse, or even a friendly pet out front! 👑 Royal Wands As the new kings and queens of our neighborhood, we invite you to make your own colorful wand—perfect for spreading joy, magic, and kindness wherever you go. 🎳 Neighborhood Game Zone Challenge your friends to indoor bowling, giant Jenga, and more! 🏘️ Neighborhood Map Collaboratively add to our big map of a pretend neighborhood with roads, parks, houses, and favorite places. ✉️ Send a Letter Write a thank you letter to our first responders, and place it in our mailbox! We’ll deliver it for you! 🔍 Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt After you joined us, take the fun outside with your family and friends with our neighborhood scavenger hunt! 🥨 Enjoy Light Snacks and Refreshments No one leaves hungry on our watch! Our Summer programs kick off in less than two weeks! In the meantime, we wanted to share the brilliant team that makes the Open Door Project possible. Next up, Amy Jo! Amy Jo is the President of our Board of Directors, a dedicated program facilitator, and truly just an incredible person! She has been with the Open Door Project for years, yet she continues to bring the same compassion and joy to everything she does. Her presence lights up every room she enters, especially when children see her. Their faces instantly brighten, which we believe is a testament to the deep trust and support children know they can experience when they are with her. Her unwavering commitment to children and the broader community is evident in every interaction! Whether she’s running a program, offering to get the staff our favorite drinks, our simply leading the students in a group song, Amy Jo makes a lasting impact.
