Glorious Presence Church Inc
What we valueIt is difficult to state what we value because the obvious answer is God; everything else is in Him. We value God, bringing Him glory in the world, through worship, praise, thanksgiving, testimonies. We value God, the mission He has given us, changing the world by the power of the Gospel. We value God, alive in His people through the Holy Spirit, each one a minister, each one a son and daughter, each one precious. What we believeTHE BIBLEUnited Redeemed accepts all of the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments as a whole and in all their parts as the divinely inspired, revealed, and inerrant Word of God. It is our joy to submit to God's Word as the only infallible authority in all matters of faith and life.GOD, THE FATHERWe believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.GOD, THE SONWe believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit He became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On the third day He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.GOD, THE HOLY SPIRITWe believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic (Christian) and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.WORSHIPThe Bible encourages God's people to praise the Lord with songs, lifted hands, clapping, dance, and all of our strength. God is enthroned on the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Scripture admonishes us to worship and bow down, to kneel before the Lord our Maker (Psalm 95:6). We are invited into the beauty of His holiness (Psalm 96:9). Indeed, by faith in Jesus Christ and by His blood, we may enter with confidence into the holy place (Hebrews 10:19). Our God shares His glorious presence with us when we worship!
