The mission of The Clinic at SCAL is to help low-income individuals and families facing removal proceedings in the Kansas City Immigration Court gain access to quality pro bono or discounted-fee legal representation. As the needs of the community have grown, the mission has expanded to allow for the promotion, protection, and preservation of non-citizen rights during urgent times. The Clinic at SCAL upholds the mission that immigrant rights are human rights.

They train practice and perfect. Every year at the end of April in Kansas City Missouri immigration attorneys assemble to The Pen Sword is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering legal professionals advocates and communities to fight for justice through storytelling legal writing and courtroom advocacy.
