Each of them brings unique experience, heart, and purpose to our work — and we want you to meet them! Next up: Becki Johnson, Learning & Development Director at CAPLP - Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership. 1.) Where did you grow up? I grew up in Vining, MN. 2.) How long have you been living in the FM Area? I moved to the FM area for college in 2002 and it has been home ever since! 3.) Where did you go to school? Minnesota State University Moorhead for undergrad and North Dakota State University for grad school. 4.) What is your favorite part of your home? My office/reading area is my favorite space in my home. It's super cozy! 5.) Tell us about what you were feeling when you became a homeowner for the first time. I was so excited to own my own home after being a renter for years. Having my own space and a yard for my son to play safely in meant a lot to me. 6.) What is your history with HFH? I joined the Board of Directors in 2018 and have been a part of the Family Selection Committee since then as well. 7.) What inspired you to get involved with HFH and join the board?
