The Root 53 Foundation believes that every child has a right to live a healthy, happy and confident life. Growing up in under-served communities, without many resources or in low income households prevent many kids from being able to live a happy and healthy life. Providing additional support that come in the form of mentorship, extracurricular hands-on learning opportunities and the donation of resources, such as school supplies, will help kids develop the skills they need despite any inevitable challenges they may be faced with.The Root 53 Foundation gives children from under-served communities extracurricular hands-on learning opportunities by engaging professionals in the community to donate their time and talent to teach kids essential skill that will give them the self-sufficiency, independence and confidence to thrive in their lives.
