MOSAIC is a Community of Faith. We love the LGBT community in Houston & are committed to share the love of Jesus with them. We know that not everyone is open to hearing our message due to many years of rejection from the Church and other Christians. However, we don't mind backing up our words with action. That action is motivated by several things: (1) we love people; (2) we believe in them; (3) we have received God's grace and desire to show it to everyone around us through our lives. MOSAIC is a Community of Art.We give all kinds of artists opportunities to share their talents with others. Photographers, painters, poets, singers, musicians, sculptors, etc. are all encouraged to share their talents at scheduled creative arts gatherings so we can celebrate the uniqueness of each person. MOSAIC is a Community of Grace.We are imperfect, non-judgmental, and accepting of all kinds of people regardless of their lifestyle. We redeem the message of Jesus from those who try to use it as a beating stick. The message of Jesus was one of love, hope, and grace. That is our message and always will be.
