Camp Yakety Yak
We are a summer camp for kids with special needs and their siblings. At Camp Yakety Yak, we specialize in teaching children the language of friendship. Camp Yakety Yak is a day camp focused on friendship development in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Camp Yakety Yak (CYY) is a unique therapeutic summer camp for children (Ages 5-22) with a developmental disability or medical condition that makes succeeding in school difficult. Our mission is to help these children grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Structured in a day camp setting CYY is staffed with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, special education instructors, graduate students, and a large contingency of volunteers.

Special Needs Day Camp | Lake Oswego, OR | Camp Yakety Yak Buddies Intensive Camper Program For adolescents with special needs ages 1215 680week Important Notice. In an effort to keep the integrity and effectiveness of our special programs such as Special Needs Campers 40 Buddies Intensive 8 Junior Camp Counselors 12 and Yak Apprentice 12 there will be a cap for participants each week noted in parentheses. Once the cap is reached a wait list will be generated. Please dont wait to register because these programs fill up fast.
