The foundation was established to promote the Go Build Georgia program, which is a part of the governors office of workforce development and which was launched in 2012 to highlight the need and opportunity for skilled craft labor in Georgia. A core component of the program is educating young people and all georgians about the wage, lifestyle and employment benefits in the skilled labor trades.
