Co-founded by two combat-wounded veterans, Purple Heart Homes has been bringing communities together to provide safe, barrier-free housing solutions for service-connected disabled and aging veterans since its founding in 2008. Purple Heart Homes Golden Corner Chapter is dedicated to providing quality of life solutions for Service Connected Disabled and Aging Veterans to suit the safety and accessibility needs of the fighting men and women of America, their families and caregivers. This scope of the mission has come to include building ramps, decks, railings, widening doorways for wheelchair bound veterans, bathroom renovations with walk-in showers, grab bars and other services with the purpose of providing safety, accessibility, dignity and peace of mind. Services that are not within the scope of Purple Heart Homes chapters includes major structural repairs, roofing, decorative improvement (unless approved), gardening or landscaping and professional repair without the services of a licensed sub-contractor.
