Inspired by the philosophy and passion of a community of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts known as dirtbags who are willing to forgo societal norms to pursue their lifestyle, we've created a charity to bring similarly unconventional people together through unconventional events to give back more to those in need in our community than we could do alone as individuals. Founded by friends who share a passion for craft beer, woodcraft, tattoos, roller derby and the outdoors among other things, Dirtbag Charities was created for those who take the path less traveled. We believe that the path to happiness comes not from what we earn or buy, but through our experiences and comradery with each other. With the funds we raise from our events, Dirtbag Charities will donate 100% of the proceeds to the National MS Society and Open Door Pediatric Therapy. All staff, including our board, work on a voluntary/unpaid basis as we believe the motivation is and shall always remain the cause. By being a 100% volunteer based organization, our motivation remains clear.
