New Mexico’s National Statewide Civics Bee Attention all New Mexico middle school (6th, 7th, & 8th grade) students and educators! The New Mexico Chamber of Commerce and the Albuquerque Public Schools are partnering to bring the National Civics Bee to the New Mexico and the Albuquerque Metro Area. The National Civics Bee essay portal is open now and will remain open until February 4, 2025. Any middle school student in New Mexico is eligible and encouraged to participate: simply compose a short 750-word essay on an idea to improve your community, go to the portal, and submit the essay.
