Recognizing that higher education is a critical factor in future success and that rising costs are a barrier for students, the purpose of Medical Lake Dollars for Scholars is to assist students to reach for, and achieve, their education and future goals by providing scholarship funds and community support. Operated by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, MLDFS coordinates community donations from various organizations and individuals, as well as raises funds on its own to support the mission
