Mission Statement For God's Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. God's Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill animal rescue and adoption for “ the prevention of cruelty to animals.” Gods Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. provides food, water, shelter, veterinary care, and love for unwanted, neglected, homeless, and often abused animals. Gods Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. was incorporated and granted IRS 501(c)(3) status on January 18th, 2012. The rescue has been operating since 1988 funded by the Founder and President, Christopher Raffield. The President established the bylaws, business plan, mission and vission statement, decrimination policy, conflict of interest, and standard operating procedures as required by State and Federal Law. Our adoption program re-homes as many pets as possible. For the animals that can't be socialized they are given a permanent home at God's Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. As we are a member of the no kill network. We also have foster homes as stepping stones before adoption. Education programs to enlighten the public about animal cruelty, animal health, animal behavior issues, and the importance of spaying and neutering. We accept all homeless, mistreated, and abused animals and to our shelter we turn none away. We do this with a large number of kennels and with a network of foster homes. God's Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. is solely funded by public donations, pet feed company donations, fund-raising events, and grants. We have no paid employees or board members, although our future goal is to have employees. We rely on volunteer help, and are looking forward to having , S.C. Dept of Probation, Sumter County Magistrates Court, and Pretrial Intervention volunteers in the near future, as we have met with all three. We have total and open transparency in our funds, showing that all monies are spent as they should be; for the prevention of cruelty to animals, their well-being, and public education, rescue cost. God's Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. only accepts donations that go into our nonprofit business account at Bank of America in Sumter, South Carolina. Gods Creatures Deserve To Live Inc. has been formally incorporated and has adopted the IRS and S.C. Secretary of State office policies and procedures in its management.
