The mission of the Washington Heritage Museums (WHM) is to preserve, promote and maintain its four 18th century properties in Fredericksburg, VA and develop dynamic educational resources and programs to engage and inspire the interest of everyone.

Bring home a little part of Mary’s Garden and plant a bit of history. For two days only, April 11 & 12, Garden Manager Ian Bugay and our fantastic volunteers have carefully selected and repotted a range of plants from Mary’s Garden including Native Columbine, Crested Iris and Byzantine Gladiola. Proceeds from the Plant Sale help to fund the care of our gardens.

Calling all active duty military. If you are looking for family fun ideas this summer, you can visit our museums for FREE as part of the Blue Star Museums program. Participating museums are offering free admission to currently serving military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, this summer now through September 1st.
